These floors have a bright and rustic appeal to make any space feel like home. Honey Mead features wood-look knots and grain across rich variations of brown. The patterns are showcased across uninterrupted 7-inch wide planks that look like real oak but offer the benefits of vinyl flooring. These planks are waterproof, making them suitable for high-moisture areas like kitchens, bathrooms, and laundry rooms. Furthermore, they're a strong option that resists the potential damage from busy households.

Each plank is fortified with a pad attached, making them one step closer to installation. The pad is made of high-performance cross-linked foam. This not only provides a cushion to the subfloor, creating a more comfortable surface, but it enhances sound properties. Additionally, they're FloorScore-certified, giving them a widely recognized indoor air-quality certification.

Installation is possible in high- or low-moisture areas below, on, or above ground level. Quick-click installation completes the job from start to finish without the need for glue or nails. The planks come with the security of a limited lifetime residential warranty.

Underlayment

QuietWalk Max, EcoSilencer Max, & QuietWalk Versa underlayments are recommended for use under Vinyl flooring. QuietBoard underlayment is also recommended with the use of our waterproof Underlayment Seal Tape on the seams to maintain the warranty. These quality underlayments help smooth out minor subfloor imperfections, provide moisture protection over wood subfloors or concrete (Class 1 vapor protection or 6mil Poly attached), and have added insulation and sound control properties.

This floor is waterproof, however, moisture intrusions from concrete via hydrostatic pressure, flooding, or plumbing leaks, along with high levels of alkalinity, can affect floor coverings over time.

Moisture can also be trapped below the flooring and create mildew or mold.
