RESPONSIBLE SOURCING

OUR COMMITMENT TO SUSTAINABILITY & ETHICAL PRACTICES
At Lumber Liquidators, we are committed to providing our customers with the highest quality products at competitive prices, while upholding responsible and sustainable business practices. Responsible sourcing is a core value that guides every aspect of our operations, from the selection of materials to the relationships we foster with our suppliers.

WHAT IS RESPONSIBLE SOURCING?
Responsible sourcing means understanding and ensuring the ethical and sustainable origins of our products, from raw materials to finished goods.
This includes:
- Ensuring product safety and compliance with regulations
- Eliminating forced and child labor and ensuring fair labor practices
- Protecting forests and combatting illegal logging
- Maintaining transparency and accountability throughout our supply chain

SUSTAINABLE WOOD SOURCING: OUR PROMISE TO PROTECT FORESTS
Our wood sourcing policy includes using only approved species with known origins and adhering to strict regulations:
- Sustainability: We are committed to preserving the world's forests by sourcing wood exclusively from approved tree and bamboo species with known origins. We work with our vendors to promote sustainable forestry practices, ensuring that all wood products come from well-managed forests and legally harvested trees.
•Compliance with Regulations: All our wood products comply with U.S. federal and state regulatory requirements such as the Lacey Act, a U.S. law that prohibits the trade of illegally sourced wood products. We will not accept products made from wood that has been illegally harvested or linked to forest-related social conflicts, including those regarding formaldehyde emissions from composite wood products. This includes regulations such as the California Air Resources Board (CARB) Airborne Toxic Control Measure (ATCM) and United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) Title VI.
CLEANER AIR, HEALTHIER HOMES: OUR LOW-VOC COMMITMENT
We are also committed to reducing the emission of VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds) from our products. VOCs can have negative health and environmental impacts. We take the following steps to minimize VOC emissions:
FAIR LABOR PRACTICES: ZERO-TOLERANCE POLICY FOR FORCED LABOR
We have a zero-tolerance policy for forced labor, including child and slave labor. Our efforts include:
CALIFORNIA CUSTOMERS: PROPOSITION 65 INFORMATION
Lumber Liquidators is committed to complying with California’s Proposition 65. We have conducted thorough assessments of our products and supply chain to identify potential exposures to listed chemicals. While we have implemented measures to minimize or eliminate these exposures, we believe it is important to inform our customers. For products containing listed chemicals, a clear and conspicuous warning will be provided. We are continually working with our suppliers to ensure compliance with the Proposition 65 regulation and to offer our customers products that meet the highest safety standards.
