This sophisticated and practical solid hardwood flooring features varied tones of cool grays and rich browns. The Red Oak that it's crafted from has a fine texture and classic look that will add clean warmth to your home. In general, smooth textures and narrow planks such as these lend a traditional, formal appearance to your flooring. It's a popular choice for many people who have older homes.

These planks feature tongue-and-groove edges. They can be installed using nail or glue-down methods over dry, even, flat subfloors. We recommend varying planks of slightly different tones and graining patterns to maintain a natural look when installing. Keep in mind that all solid hardwood will change with time: Species like this beautiful Red Oak tend to develop light highlights with age, which will add further character to your elegant flooring. 

We recommend using a pad, or underlayment, with this type of flooring. Bellawood Platinum, Bellawood Premium, Quiet Walk, or Eco Silent Sound underlayments will smooth out subtle subfloor imperfections while helping to improve insulation and underfoot comfort.
