From the heart of the Amazon Basin comes Brazilian Oak—an exotic wood species that shares many visual characteristics with North American Red Oak. Also known as Tauari wood, floors made from these trees have a reputation for their distinctive looks and sturdy feel. A light brown hue, for instance, helps this floor bring radiance and energy to your interior spaces. Meanwhile, as this is an unfinished product, you have some flexibility with how you finish this floor off, and can do so in a way that will mesh nicely with all manner of interior design philosophies.

You can install these floors on grade, above grade, or both if you're looking to tie your interior design together. Always acclimate your planks to their environment prior to installation, and help your floors look great by caring for them properly.
